here is the process I use:
As an example one of the most recent commissions:
- Contacted by client, The piece is for a promotion ceremony for our commander, The piece was to be a portrait of the commander wearing a puma headdress.
- These are the images given to me to use as reference.
- I do reference sketches and send along a comp (small rough idea sketches) of what I am planning. In this case these were not sent due to the client (our XO out on mission).
- Piece is completed on time and passed to the client
- Piece not shown for protection (our commander has moved on to another unit)
IT turned out to be a fantastic gift, the detachment signed the mat and is something our commander will remember for the rest of his career. So contact me and lets work together for something that will be appreciated for year and will be completely original and unique.
